WP Creme Caramel This coffee has a wonderful caramel aroma while brewing. The color is a medium dark brown. When drinking it black, there is a nice "coffee" flavor while drinking, but not a strong caramel flavor. I know that this is a common criticism I have of flavored coffees. I added some creamer and it definitely enhanced the caramel flavor. The coffee is NOT bitter .. and is full bodied. While not my favorite flavored coffee, I definately enjoyed this and I'm glad its available year around!

First into the Keurig this week was Wolfgang Puck's Creme Caramel. The description promised sweetness of rich caramel mixed with gourmet vanilla ice cream. It sounded delicious, but after some of the flavored K-Cups I’ve had in the past, I was just hoping for it to not be another kitchen nightmare. Sorry, wrong chef.

Anyway...on to the review.

Creme Caramel started off great. It had a delicious extra sweet caramel-vanilla aroma. It smelled a lot like a caramel macchiatto from an unnamed coffee chain with green aprons.

Even before I tasted anything, the first thing I noticed about the taste was the watery/really light body. Too watery for me, but the actual taste salvaged it somewhat. It had a medium-dark roast flavor that mixed with a sweet caramel and thick layer of vanilla around the edges.

I liked it, but something about it just tasted fake to me. Overall, it earned a slight, just barely above average rating of 3.25 on the K-Cup scale.
