4.0 stars by Terra Darnall	As an avid all day coffee drinker, I don't have any problems with sleeplessness after this coffee, and many fewer trips to the bathroom through the night too! You can't tell it has less caffeine by its flavor. I appreciate Green Mountain providing this option.

Being ordered by your doctor to cut your caffeine use is a very scary concept to me and something that I hope that I never have to face. There's two reasons I don't want to cut caffeine out of my diet, the first is that I love caffeine and the second is that there aren't many drinkable, let alone great decaf coffees that I've come across.

The list of decaf coffees that I've liked is exceptionally short -- Simmer Down by Marley Coffee and Ethiopian Harrar from Barista on Duty. I was hoping for some sort of miracle and would be able to add Half Caff from Green Mountain Coffee to the list.

Things started out in the right direction. It had a mild, nutty aroma with a spiciness around the edges that I liked.

However, it wasn't long before things started to go all wrong. The taste was a little bitter, very generic and had a wet cigar taste. Cigar flavor can be a good taste, but here it tasted like it was soaked in water over night, not so good.

Overall, Half Caff earned a below average two on the K-Cup scale. There has to be better options out there for someone that’s looking for a reduced caffeine K-Cup.
