4.0 stars by Terra Darnall	While I didn't find that this tasted pecan, I did think it tasted like an agreeable blend of hazelnut and amaretto. It is sweet in its own right, requiring little or no additional sweetener, even for a sweet coffee drinker. Were I to drink this regularly, I would recommend the middle cup setting, as it was just a touch weak on the highest setting. Quite tasty.

As the Southern Pecan brewed, it filled my kitchen with a sweet-chocolate aroma. It was one of those kinds of flavored coffees, but it wasn't over the top. I picked up on light nutty scent.

There wasn't much nutty flavor in the aroma department, but the taste was predominantly nut flavored. That was surrounded by a sweet, creamy flavor and a dark, dark chocolate with a hint of bitterness in the after taste. It was mostly a smooth sip and the flavors blended well together.

Overall, it wasn't a bad K-cup, but it wasn't great either. It earned an average three rating on the K-Cup scale.
