I was hopeful with the nice chocolate aroma while the kcup was brewing. But it did not translate to a strong chocolate taste. Because this is a light roast coffee, there was not a strong coffee flavor to this kcup either. (I like the Cafe Escape Cafe Mocha better than this. But best yet, is to brew 2 kcups - one hot chocolate and one coffee). This had a watery and thin mouth feel, light reddish brown color and slightly bitter.
5.0 stars by Anonymous	Love this coffee!! Sit back and relax with a warm cup of chocolate glazed donut. All of the yummy, chocolately pleasure of a warm doughnut but without the guilt! This one satisfies your need to have something warm and sweet in the morning or any time of the day without making you look like a relative of Homer Simpson. And the best part is, you don't have to drive to the donut shop to have that taste, it can be delivered right to your door! Thank you Green Mountain for this delicious coffee!

2.0 stars by Terra Darnall	I've had better chocolate flavored coffees (until Ghirardelli starts making K-cups, it will do). This one has a bit of an artificial chocolate flavor with a caramelly finish. I'm a chocolate purist, so chocolate-flavored things like tootsie rolls always taste "off" to me, and this tastes like that. If you like that kind of thing, you'll love this. I'd drink it again, but I prefer real cocoa flavor in my coffee instead of coffee alcohols. This is very sweet on it's own without anything added to it, so if you usually add sweetener of some kind, you may want to try it before you add it.

3.0 stars by Brian Wathen	This coffee would get 2 stars for taste but 5 starts for aroma. When you brew this you get a fantastic aroma of a chocolate glazed donut. However when you sit down and taste this coffee you realize they sacrificed taste for aroma. The best description I can come with for the taste is that it tastes like artificial flavoring and preservatives. It's drinkable but I don't think I'd order a box of this. I think it has a full bodied coffee taste and the chocolate tastes good enough to make me feel like I'm getting a treat with my coffee. I have tried some others, like Van Houtte Chocolate Almond, and they're okay, but I keep coming back to DH Chocolate Glazed Donut.

Between my day job and a million other projects going on, this has been a pretty busy week. You'd think that means that I'd be drinking a lot more coffee, but instead I may actually be drinking less. It's a scary thought!

Luckily, I have my Keurig to keep me running.I'd rather use my Chemex or French Press, but when you have to be out the door ten minutes ago, that isn't always an option. One of the K-Cups that I sipped on this week was Chocolate Glazed Donut from Donut House. I wasn't sure what K-Cup to review this week until one of my coworkers mentioned on Facebook how wonderful it was. It was like some sort of sign that I had to review it this week.

Chocolate Glazed Donut is a combo that's hard to resist. A fresh chocolate donut, topped with a sweet, sugar glaze, dunked into your mug. All coffee. No crumbs.

This coffee brought back some childhood memories. The very first thing that Chocolate Glazed Donut I reminded me of was walking into a donut shop and smelling a fresh chocolate glazed donut. It had a sweet aroma, that wasn't overwhelming and had just the right amounts of chocolate.

Donut House got the taste just right. If you like flavored coffees, I think you're going to like this one? It was like tasting a chocolate glazed donut in coffee form. The only minor thing that I would take off points for is there was a slightly, tiny almost undetectable mediciney flavor in the after taste.

Overall, Chocolate Glazed Donut from Donut House was a fun flavored coffee and earned a slightly above average rating of 3.25 on the K-Cup scale. I don't know if I could drink this coffee every day, but I definitely wouldn't mind drinking it again!
