The flavors of this rich, darker roast blend reflect hearty West Coast style roasts. Dark roasted Indonesian coffees offer bountiful sweetness and syrupy notes. A touch of East African beans adds an element of berry-hued brightness to the blend's bold flavor foundations.

Lake and Lodge
Mmmmmm. What a wonderful cup of coffee! As fall approaches, I wanted a nice mug of something warm and strong to sip on. Truthfully, the name caught my eye, as I perused the coffees on my shelf, and I envisioned a "lake and lodge" surrounded by fall leaves. So I tried this and it did NOT disappoint! Lake and Lodge has a nice strong coffee flavor and was not bitter like so many dark roasts can be. It is smooth and has a wonderful full bodied flavor. This is a coffee that I will keep stocked on my shelf!

great coffee!
Tourist season brings an array of coffees or when you travel. Lake and Lodge is a great coffee indoors or out-- like a clear mountain lake or comfy lodge. So many of the coffees are being discontinued--glad this one emains. Try it! Georgia--1Quickcup ambassador

Very well-rounded, smooth blend. Not too overpowering, not too weak. Slightly sweet aftertaste. Great first cup on a cold winter morning.

Stout cup of java as I step out on my deck of my lodge overlooking the lake...I buy it both for the taste and the name:)

Lake and Lodge is a coffee that satisfies me in the k-cups. Many are weak when brewed on the larger settings. I enjoy this med/dark brew and think of coffee over a campfire in a serene setting. It is a vacation in and of itself...stands out from the crowd but satisfies like a great vacation. This coffee is one to try because I can't think of another that comes close. cccpines

Smoky, bold, but not burned tasting. Good finish, with a hint of sweetness. This is a good, solid cup of coffee for those on the line about medium vs. dark roasts. No bitterness, but all the other benefits of a darker roast, like good body and no weakness.

First I love the name because it just says summer to me. Growing up I lived in a town with a state park and going to the Hungry Mother Lake was something we did 5 days a week plus now that I live in Minnesota - the word lake just says HOME. And who doesn't enjoy the comfort and coziness of a Lodge? Can I just say this coffee lives up to its name. Now that the weather is warmer, I'm finding that I am preferring slightly lighter coffees than my winter favorites and this coffee definitely lives up to the billing. It's full-bodied by very smooth. I set my Keurig on 6 oz but I think I could still enjoy it if the coffee maker was set at 8 oz. This is a definite MUST HAVE for summer.

Coffee has a great start and finish. A certain sweetness and boldness that is not overpowering. It tastes like coffee, not candy or liquor or something that it shouldn't, just good coffee with a slight added flavor. I will now add a box of Lake and Lodge in with every order just so that I don't run out. We are very pleased that we gave this a try. For the price you really can't afford to not try it.

Lake and lodge is a good coffee for all you darker roast fans. It has a sweet, floral and somewhat earthy, woodsy aroma. It has a very dark, reddish brown appearance. The mouth feel is light/medium. The first sip left an ashy after taste. As I kept drinking I noticed some sweetness and a little spiciness. The acidity was light to medium. This was a cup with character, one of those cups where each taste brought out more of the coffee's flavor. I found after the first sip that I enjoyed this k-cup. Give it a try. on a scale of 1-10 I would give this cup a 7. Mike A 1quickcup Ambassador.
