Green Mountain Breakfast Blend
My disclaimer ... I normally like dark roasts/bold K Cups. I like a strong "coffee" taste. Knowing that ahead of time, i did NOT have high expectations for this breakfast blends .. as they are normally more of a light-medium roast. However, I was more impressed with this, than I thought I would be. This was an "ok" cup of coffee. It produced a normal coffee aroma while brewing. It had a medium brown color. It was smooth. No bitterness. Medium to thin mouth feel. I "could" drink this ... but when there are so many other coffees that i LOVE, i won't keep this on my shelf.

Great Brew for when I don't want something too strong.

This one is one of my 2 favorite morning brews. I cannot punish it in any way. It has a mellowness without being weak. If you want more "grab" in the morning, then brew this on the 6oz setting. I usually brew most my k-cups on the 8oz and use a creamer. (I don't like dark and rich, unless were talking about chocolate!) I will always recommend this one!!

Mild, smooth, without being weak. Very similar to Donut House, also made by Green Mountain.

This is one my husband and I disagree on - but it's because we have completely different tastes in coffee. I say it's a nice, balanced, milder coffee. He says it's weak. I have to say - he's not the only one who's said that about this coffee. I've had a house guest say it also. But to me - it's a mellow, smooth coffee with a nice aroma and no bitter after taste. It's not my favorite - but it's very good.

One of the better light blends I have tried. It's smooth, doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste and is a satisfying cup of coffee for an easy morning or relaxing evening.

I like a good strong cup of coffee. I find this coffee a bit to weak for my liking, but I was kind of expecting that where it is a breakfast blend. I do like that it is not at all bitter. It dont taste burned. The smell of it still awakes the senses, even if the coffee it self don't awaken the rest of me. I think for people who love a mild coffee this is perfect.

Surprised! Since I don't like the light/medium blends, brewed it on 8 0z & liked it more. Better than the Timothy's Breakfast Blend; liked the Dietrich's Morning Edition the least I gave it a 3-4 rating and classify it as a nice cup of coffee--nothing more.

As a 1Quickcup ambassador, I keep track of most "K-cup news" This is my second review for this one. Still love it! I have found that this one is truly a breakfast/morning blend. It is very light, easy on the palate, and sweet. Another I'll mention is Diedrich Morning Edition which is also sweet but leaning a tad more toward a medium roast, but it's pretty lid makes it tempting to buy just for that! In the middle of those two was Caribou Daybreak. Timothy's Breakfast Blend is also nice, not quite as sweet, but a nicer brew over their Morning Blend. Wolfgang Puck Breakfast in Bed is nice, I have no negative marks on that one. Timothy's Donut Blend, and GM Donut House are both VERY nice as morning coffees as well as any time. So there it is. Just my thoughts on those mentioned. Now it's your turn to try some:)
Overall Rating: 2.5 Out Of 5 Coffee Mugs

First into the ring is Green Mountain Coffee's offering.

They say that it is their most popular blends with a rich taste and medium acidity. They promise a snappy, crisp and citrusy Central American coffee matched with the sweetness, body and depth of an Indonesian bean to create a wakeful blend that won't try to compete with your orange juice in terms of its brightness.

Green Mountain Coffee's Breakfast Blend's aroma was intriguing. It had hints of chocolate, maple syrup and an earthy scent.

The taste wasn't intriguing at all. It was almost a sour/bitter taste. I did pick up hints of cinnamon and chocolate.

It was drinkable, but that's not saying much. This version of the Breakfast Blend earned a below average 2.5 on the Daily Shot Of Coffee K-Cup scale.
