Strong coffee-Strong reviews!
Double Black Diamond is an exceptional blend. It is strong but doesn't overpower you. For those who like a good strong cup of coffee this is definitely it. With all the 5 star reviews I'd say this may be the best of it's kind!

Hands down FAV
This is my favorite K-cup. My husband and I used to own a coffee shop. I like a bold kick... this one has it. But it is also light on the tongue and has little after taste.

This has become one of my absolute favorite 1Quickcup of coffee! I love the deep rich body and while I do not have a sophisticated palette to discern the caramel and smokey flavors, I obviously like them This is a smooth cup of coffee- it just goes down the way I like my morning brew... rich, deep with absolutely no bitter after taste. That is a huge criteria for me, as much as I love my coffee, I don't like the taste sticking around all morning. And, with this cup of coffee there is absolutely no after taste. I set the brewer at 6oz and I drink it black.

This is a great dark roast. Unlike the previous reviewer, I set mine on the largest setting, and it does not come across weak at all. Very good body, no bitterness.

When I brew GM's Double Black Diamond I notice a very plesant deep, woodsy aroma. The appearance in the cup is a very dark, (almost black) but clear, brown. I would discribe the mouth feel as medium to full. I like a coffee with a heaver mouth feel. The first thing I noticed when I took a sip was the woodsy aroma I liked so much translated to the taste. Unfortunatly, the next thing I noticed was a chared, bitter taste. This is often the case, in my experience, with dark roasted coffee's. This is the same reason I don't care for coffee from the largest of the commercial coffee franchises. It always tastes over roasted and my preference is towards full flavored, medium roasts. I did enjoy the mild acidity of this roast and notied a slightly spicy flavor on the middle of my tongue that I enjoyed. I would give this coffee a 3 out of 5 rating. It would be higher except for the charred taste that I find off putting.
