Very dark, very bitter, dark roast. If you're a fan of 92% cocoa chocolate, this may be right up your alley. I didn't care for the bitterness or the burned taste, but it had good body, and the bitterness didn't linger on the tongue long after swallowing.

Overall Rating: 3.75 Out Of 5 Coffee Mugs
The Green Mountain Coffee Kenyan AA had an aroma that reminded me of some of the better African coffees that I've tried. I smelled an earthy flavor that combined with a wine-line scent. I also picked up on hints of berries.
I liked the aroma a lot, however I've been misled before with some K-Cups. Some of them smell great, but the tastes are a different story. This one didn't disappoint me. It had a wine/berry flavor and a bold, strong after taste that I really liked.
I was impressed by this K-Cup. It earned a well above average rating of 3.75 on the K-Cup scale. It was one of the best K-Cups that I've tried yet and if it had just a little bit more life to it, it probably could compete with some whole bean coffees that I've tried from Kenya.
