This coffee is a perfect representation of Tully's roasting philosophy. Slow roasting at a low temperature allows this coffee's complexity to be unwrapped with each sip. A malty sweetness plays with smoky elements that help develop the full bodied cup. Creamy and rich in the mouthful, the finish offers burnt cedar yet is pleasantly dry.

3.0 stars by Anonymous	Tully's coffees seem smoother (seemingly not as strong); I found Italian Roast in the same catagory. It reminded me of the Green Mountain Espresso Blend. I liked it but wouldn't rush out and buy it, but then, I prefer the Indonesian coffees. Pleasant but nothing distinct. A good Italian blend I would drink again.

4.0 stars by Georgia Jorgensen	I wrote the last review but see this coffee is now part of the weekly special in the combo pack. Italian Roast is a great choice to have on hand for those who like the stornger coffees or for guests. I would buy it but is not my first choice. Normally, the Italian coffees are not my fav but this one is good.
