I'm a 1quickcup Ambassador and tonight, just before bed I thought I would give Celestial Seasonings, Sleepytime herbal tea a try. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance of the chamomile and the mint. Very pleasant and soothing. The flavor is like drinking liquid honey. It is smooth with a finish of cooling mint. Being both herbal and caffeine free makes it a very nice drink before bed. The mouth feel is light with no acid bite. This would be a great tea if you had a cold or sore throat.

I have always been a tea drinker (when I am not drinking coffee...) Celestial Seasonings quality and consistency is proven time and again. Sleepytime is one of theri best most popular blends and is a favorite of mine alrerady in it's traditional form. I have to ADMIT i WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT TEA WORKING IN A k-CUP FORMAT. "How does it steep? It won't have the same properties..." I was wrong. Now when I am winding down at night and want my cozy tea I don't have to interupt my book, movie, meditation whatever to make tea. Just pop in my k-cup. I brew on the small setting to get the most concentrated taste and it is indistinguishable from a brewed cup. Highly reccomend it!

This is a pretty good offering by Celestial Seasonings, but I've come to expect really good things from them and this one didn't deliver to the level I expected. It tasted a little weak at the medium 7.25 oz setting and didn't have as much flavor as I've tasted in the other Celestial teas. If you're looking for a flavorful herbal caffeine-free tea, try Celestial's Mandarin Orange Spice Herbal tea. That stuff is great!
