I've been hooked on Kona coffee since visiting Hawaii several years ago. This is by far the best K-Cup of Kona I've found!! And I LOVE the pink label!!

All Kona coffee's that come in K-Cups are blends as is Coffee Peoples Kona Blend, Island Style. The big difference is CP's Kona Blend is an Extra Bold K-Cup. You still get that mellow, non acid taste but with extra flavor. The flavor is flowery and nutty and the cup has a good mouth feel. I normally don't care for dark roast coffee's but this is one of my favorites.

4/5. Kona blends tend to be among my favorites because they are strong enough, have good body, but aren't bitter or burned tasting. This one has all that, and a touch of natural sweetness that makes for a great finish.

I love most konas. However, when drinking this coffee, I tasted bitterness and an odd aftertaste. I was longing for that mellow yet strong coffee, and instead tasted coffee that was bitter and flat. I LOVE the Coffee People line ... with the exception of this cup. This is the first time, since drinking hazelnut coffee, that I have had to DUMP a kcup out. Normally, I'm able to drink it, add creamer, add cocoa mix... but not to this cup. Barb 1 Quick Cup Ambassador

I hate to sound like a copy cat, but with this one I felt the same as Barb who left a review last. I did the same...poured it out. But unlike Barb, Coffee People coffee's are my least favorite. Most all of theirs is to strong for me. My favorite Kona Blend coffee is by Green Mountain.

Yuck. I drank the whole cup and wished I hadn't because it make me nauseous. I'm not sure what it was, but man was that bad.

Perhaps I'm doing this review because no one liked it! I do. Ut isn't as mild as kona but it satisfied my need for a bold coffee with a type of flavor notes. It wasn't sweet like most carmel coffees while own so i rate ita FOUR I enjoyed it both in the morning and evening--black. I discovered it is a coffee that stands on its own so I rate it a FOUR.

Even though this is a Kona Blend, it doesn't mean that it's going to be a bad coffee. I'm still willing to give it a shot.
However, after smelling and taste testing it, I probably would??ve been alright with skipping it. It had a generic nutty aroma and a generic dark roast nutty flavor. It had a medium body and a slightly bitter after taste.
It was a solid dark roast, that most dark roast drinkers could enjoy, but there was none of the full of life and full of flavor Kona coffee that I remembered from the whole bean versions of Kona that I??ve tried.
Kona Blend Island Style earned an average three on the Daily Shot Of Coffee K-Cup scale.
