It's fragrant, smooth and when people come over and don't know what K-cup to choose - this is one of the ones I recommend and there are never any complaints. It's a little bold and this is one I like with a little cream. But I like the milder coffees more so than the bolder ones.

This is what I think of Coffee People's Donut Shop Coffee. I love the smell and the flavor--it tastes like what coffee is supposed to taste like. It is smooth and not bitter. It is truly the best part of my day!
5.0 stars by Alyce Lee	donut shop is one of my favorites, it is also one of my husband's favorites. i drink my coffee black and he drinks with cream and sugar and donut shop taste great both ways. the aroma brings me back to the wonderful smell of coffee brewing in my parents kitchen as a child and of the coffee shop that my dad would take me to, just the the of us. where i would ask for just a sip, always ended up with him giving me 1/3 of his cup diluted with lots of milk :). it is a dark substantial roast but without any sharp notes. a great cup of coffee!
3.0 stars by James Mather	Coffee Peoples Donut Shop Review. The aroma is sweet and slightly floral. The appearance is a clear medium brown. The mouth feel is light to medium. The taste is a little hard to describe. I noticed a sweetness on the front of my tongue followed by some saltiness and a bitter after taste. Coffee People describe this as a bold coffee. If that's what they think there must be a bunch of coffee wimps doing their tasting. This seems to be a fairly blah coffee that would be appreciated by people who like their coffee weak. I prefer medium roasts and x-tra bolds with big rich flavor and this isn't anything like that. When my mom was alive she would have said that this tasted like dishwater. I'm really surprised by the number of good reviews this coffee gets. As always, try it for yourself and make up your own mind. I would give this coffee a 3 out of 5. It is average at best. You may have heard of this proverb "don't judge a book by it's cover." I'm sure one or two people have used it. Anyways, it reminded me of this K-cup called the Original Donut Shop by The Coffee People. Looking at the lid of this k-cup and I thought I was going to be getting a sweet, flavored coffee that might taste like my favorite donut. It wasn't until after I took the first sip and read the description that I realized I had assumed completely wrong.

Remember the good ol' days with this sweet Coffee People K-Cup Donut Shop coffee for Keurig Brewers, medium roast, extra bold, full-bodied all-American classic.

The lid may have thrown me off, but their description was spot on. This coffee reminded me of some of the cups of joes that I've had at diners in middle of nowhere New York, minus the sitting on the burner, burnt to the crisp flavor.

This coffee had a likable warm, nutty aroma. There was a sweet twist that almost reminded me of a coffee that already had the cream and sugar added.

The taste was simple, classic and very drinkable. It had a rich, nutty flavor that tasted like a medium roast.

The after taste was a little bit darker.

It can be pretty much summed up as simple, but very drinkable. I could definitely see this as an every day coffee, especially when I'm running late to work and do't really have time to completely enjoy the coffee.

I liked this coffee, but it was definitely nothing to write home about. It earns an average three out of five rating on the Daily Shot Of Coffee scale.
